In our last video, you saw us take in the beauty of Mount Rushmore. By the time we left South Dakota, we had been running hard and getting tired. So, when we found out there was a campground at the base of Devils Tower, we jumped on the chance to stay a couple nights and recharge. We were not disappointed! It was an impressive setting to camp, to stargaze, and to rest up for our next boondocking adventure (which is teased at the end of this video.) The America the Beautiful pass from the National Park Service gets you admission to the Devils Tower park, but the campground is a $20/night fee. There is no electric hookup, no sewer dump, and only water fill-up spots - no dedicated water lines. You may run generators from 8a-8p if you so desire. The park is very secluded, being quite a drive from any chain stores like Wal-Mart, as well as laundry services. Enjoy some of the scenes from our visit to this legendary natural structure. Because we were trying to rest, we didn't film as much at this location, but we got some pretty breathtaking drone footage and some great shots around the base of the tower.
Our entire family prays that you are blessed by this content, and we covet your prayers of support and encouragement. It has become incredibly expensive to live this lifestyle, so we are stationary in 2022. We look back fondly on these adventures, and we recognize that we are incredibly blessed by God to not only have made these memories, but captured them to share with you. Thank you!
