The property used to be a 100-acre dairy farm in the early 1900's. Our trademark red barn is 107 years old and our farmhouse was built in 1915.
There are many causes for the egg shortages and issues with chickens not laying their normal amount of eggs. In this video, I lend my thoughts. I'm not trying to convince or persuade anyone to one side or the other, it's just what I'm seeing and how I understand it. We have over 300 chickens and provide some interesting things to ponder and investigate on your own.
