So I decided to start looking into OBS recording optimizations and BOY HAVE I GONE DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE! But I just thought I would post this. It lagged and crashed pretty quickly, but the results are unreal. The video quality is ridiculous and was recorded using SVT-AV1 encoding at a constant 3.5 mbps. This almost 2.5 minute 1080p clip is only 53.2 MB. I plan on making another one using the NVENC h264 encoder of similar length and uploading to compare the file size and image quality.
